Museum NVG Room Supervisor Brent Babcock demonstrates the view.

The Pacific Northwest Naval Air Museum is pleased to announce that the Night Vision Goggle Room (NVG) Exhibit is officially reopened.

The NVG Room will be open on Saturdays from 12:00 – 4:00. This exhibit includes a vintage topography table, that you put on the night vision goggles to look at. It shows you the perspective that pilots flying at night would see as they came in to land or drill. It is an immersive visualization of night vision landing procedures.

This is a close quarters exhibit. You enter the room in total darkness and remain that way throughout your NVG Session.

Due to CDC Covid-19 Guidelines, only 1 group of up to 6 individuals are allowed in the exhibit at a time. We plan to keep groups who come to the museum together, separate from other individuals not in their party. Please be patient with us as we do our best to navigate these guidelines, while also trying to provide this experience to our fullest capabilities!

So exciting! Come down to the Museum to experience the NVG Room Saturday afternoons.
