Well, here we are halfway through February 2022 already. Where does the time go?

We have lots of things going on at the Pacific Northwest Naval Air Museum this year!

Our Annual Community Luncheon is February 22nd, at 11:30am at the Oak Harbor Elks Lodge located at 155 NE Ernst Street. All are invited to join us while we acknowledge our PNWNAM volunteers and celebrate our amazing Oak Harbor and NASWI community. Admission is free as always! Lunch is available for $12, please RSVP by calling 360-240-9500 or by emailing your name, number attending, and a phone number to info@pnwnam.org.

But that’s not all! We have many exciting events planned for this year! Check out our Events Calendar for information on current and upcoming events.

Participating in, and hosting events creates opportunities for individuals in our community to volunteer their time and skills at the Pacific Northwest Naval Air Museum in a variety of different ways, and we need you! If you are interested in volunteering at PNWNAM, contact us today by emailing volunteer@pnwnam.org, calling the museum at 360-240-9500, or by coming into the museum and filling out a Volunteer Application. Let us know what kind of volunteer opportunity you are looking for, and after a brief orientation and training, we can put you to work; explaining exhibits and sharing history as a Museum Docent, greeting guests as an Admissions and Ship Store Cashier, turning a wrench over in our Outdoor Display Area, or helping process donated artifacts with the Collections Team. All ages 14+ are welcome to volunteer, so come down today, we are happy to have you!

And finally, our new t-shirts and hoodies, made by Savage Printing in Clinton, are in and they are AWESOME! Come down to museum today to get your “I (HEART) JET NOISE!” hoodie! Or try our brand-new “PBY-5A Catalina” design on for size! Also, in stock are all new designs for the “P-8 Poseidon”, the “EA-18G Growler”, & the “FA-18 Blue Angles” flying in formation over Deception Pass Bridge! These designs are all exclusive to PNWNAM – you won’t find them anywhere else!

Hope to see you soon, down here at the Pacific Northwest Naval Air Museum, located in Oak Harbor at 270 SE Pioneer Way! Open on winter schedule through the end of the month. Wednesday – Saturday 11am – 4pm, and Sunday’s from 1pm – 4pm
