11 members of the QUUF Universalist Fellowship Church (Port Townsend, WA) toured the Museum recently. The tour was part of the group’s “Adult Learning Program” which includes regional history.

People’s Bank of Oak Harbor sponsored a PBY fly-in owned by Bob Dicks of Pacific Flying Boats Ltd. based out of Sidney, B.C., Canada for the annual Maritime Patrol Association’s reunion. The Maritime Patrol Association (MPA) is a non-profit professional organization for the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance community. Founded in 2011, MPA provides recognition and enhances the prestige of the MPR community by harnessing the power and support of their members and the community’s industry partners.

Museum volunteer John Love applies a museum Object ID accessioning tag to the Quonset “Homoja” Hut. The hut is an invaluable artifact obtained by the Museum in the past year.

Scary Time…Museum volunteers Onee Hedeen and Richard Rezabek pass out candy to 500+ children at the annual holiday sidewalk event. Onee and Richard have passed out candy since the very beginnings of the museum.
