Peter Malarkey, Art Conservator of Seattle and Museum volunteer John Hughes examine the 17ft hand-painted canvas that originally hung at the now defunct NAS Seattle enlisted mess hall, donated to the Museum. The canvas will be preserved with some careful and meticulous professional care and displayed again around the region.
